I'm Michael Schmid. I hold a German Diplom degree in business administration and have worked in digital business for more than 20 years – in company leadership, as a service provider and in hands-on implementation.
At rta.design, Mediengruppe Allgäuer Zeitung and Newsfactory, I helped develop solutions for clients while also choosing and using systems for our own needs. As COO at Fox4Pets, I combine operational responsibility with digital development.

I have made selection decisions for ERP, CMS and SSO systems. At GranataPet/Fox4Pets, I selected the ERP system and took responsibility for its introduction, including process design, data modelling and coordination of external service providers.

As Product Owner at Newsfactory, I consolidated client requirements and worked with development teams to turn them into product improvements. Within the group-wide SAP programme, I led the e-commerce workstream for the introduction of Hybris, defining processes and coordinating with other teams.
